ADVERTISING:Rasmus 'MiSeRy' Fillipsen's team has once again run aground. Despite being a strong favourite to qualify for the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor, the newly revised Chaos Esports Club has been taken out by SexyAsFuck, a Greek team comprised of ex-Ad Finem members.

It has been just over a week since Chaos EC announced their new roster. The switch from a mostly South American roster to a predominantly European one turned a few heads, as did the addition of North American player Nico 'Gunnar' Lopez to the team, especially because of the recent drama between him and Jacky 'EternaLEnVy' Mao.
The defeat will be particularly painful because Chaos struggled in the Epicenter M: Europe Qualifier, having gone down to Aachen City Esports before even making the Closed Qualifier. They also had a poor showing at the MDL Disneyland Paris Major where they tied for last place.
The last time Misery played at an International was back in 2016 when he led Digital Chaos to the Grand Finals. With only 288 DPC points, Chaos EC cannot qualify for The International 2019 via point total—they will have to qualify regionally.

Is there any realistic hope of Chaos Esports Club making TI9?
