Team Liquid have had a rough season: they haven't been successful at any DPC event this season. Also, they ended up in the group of death at the Major - not an easy way to start into a tournament. In the end, however, Kuro S. 'KuroKy' Takhasomi and his team-mates had a good performance in the group stage by finishing second. The TI7 champions won against Keen Gaming twice, but got 2-0'd by Virtus.pro.

The best player in Liquid's blue and white jersey was Amer 'Miracle-' Al-Barkawi. He proved one more time why he's considered to be one of the best players in the world. The Chinese opponents didn't find a way to stop him and Miracle- died only 12 times in all five games combined.



Team Liquid will have another hard task coming up in the first round of the Upper Bracket. They'll play against Evil Geniuses.

Also, the reigning Minor champions Ninjas in Pyjamas made it into the Upper Bracket after winning the second game against Chaos Esports Club. This time Peter 'ppd' Dager knew the right solution to stop Rasmus 'rASmus' Fillipsen and his team-mates.

The last two teams that made it into the Upper Bracket are PSG.LGD after beating Mineski and OG in Group D.
