Team Secret vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas and Team Liquid vs. OG: we got two quality showdowns in the qualifier for MDL Disneyland Paris Major today. The first game of the day was between Adrian 'Fata' Trinks and his former team-mates at Team Secret. However, Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov and Co. didn't give NiP an opportunity to win a single game.

Secret started another series of victories without a loss: after this qualifier they're on 6-0 run and already qualified for the MDL Disneyland Paris Major. We'll see if their run will be even bigger in Paris.

The ultimate TI winner battle

In the second series of the day Liquid met OG. We saw the current TI winners against the former TI winners - and it was the thrilling matchup we were hoping for: game one lasted more than 65 minutes! Both teams had exactly the same amount of kills (43) by the end of the match and it was a tough battle between the carries on both sides.

Topias 'Topson' Taavitsainen was still a bit shaky in this game, but Sebastien 'Ceb' Debs stepped in for his team-mate and had a great performance on Brewmaster. However, all eyes were on the duel between Anathan 'ana' Pham and Amer 'Miracle-' Al-Barkawi.

In the end Miracle- had a better start in the series with 15/4/20, while ana finished the match with 11/9/11. He was missing the help of a team-mate to win the game for his squad in the late game, because Lasse 'Matumbaman' Urpalainen had another all-star performance on one of his favourite heroes: 20/8/16 on Necrophos.

The game had some intense team fights from the start until the end. OG was even in the lead for most of the game, but Liquid knew exactly how to turn it around. It's a game worth re-watching.

Although OG lost in the first match, they had a solid game two which they won thanks to a convincing performance by ana on Phantom Assassin. However, Liquid demonstrated why they're considered to be one of the best teams in the world: it was not only Miracle- that demolished OG in game three, but also Matumbaman, Maroun 'Gh' Merhej and Ivan 'MinD_ContRoL' Borislavov.

It's hard to win against such an experienced team that has a world-class player on every position. Liquid won the series in the end with 2-1 and qualified for the Major in Disneyland Paris. OG will play against Alliance in the Lower Bracket. The current TI winner needs to win two more series to make it to their first Major of this season.

Who will win the third slot for the MDL Disneyland Paris Major?
