The playoffs kicked off with the first two Lower Bracket games including Natus Vincere, J.Storm, EHOME and Infamous. Only two teams will keep playing in the next round. The first game of the tournament was between the North American squad J.Storm and the Ukrainian power house Natus Vincere. This match is Na'Vi's debut in Major playoffs this DPC, while Tae Won 'March' Park and his team-mates already attended every Major of this season. However, their best result so far was a 9th-12th place at both Chongqing and Kuala Lumpur Major.

Na'Vi drafted a greedy lineup including heroes like Ursa and Medusa on the carry positions which we don't see too often in professional games lately. Meanwhile, J.Storm drafted Shadow Fiend for Jonathan Bryle 'Bryle' Santos De Guia and Lifestealer for David 'Moo' Hull - and that was the key factor.

The North American veteran had an all-star performance on Lifestealer in this game against Natus Vincere with incredible stats of 20/2/9. However, this was not the only highlight of the game: J.Storm attacked high ground after 45 minutes with a solid 6k gold lead. The fight was even until Sang-Don 'FoREv' Lee dropped a breathtaking four-man Vacuum to finish the game.

EHOME isn't strong enough without Faith Bian

EHOME was China's hope in the second round of the DPC. The team directed by Zhang 'xiao8' Ning won The Bucharest Minor and had a good run at the Major where they finished in 5th-6th place.

However, Luo 'eGo' Bin decided to step back because of the pressure and Zhang 'Faith Bian' Ruida got injured during Mars Media Dota 2 League: Macau 2019 - EHOME was weakened significantly and Infamous took advantage of it.

The Peruvian team surrounding Enzo 'Timado' Gianoli and the newest addition Mason 'mason' Venne had a strong early lead and maintained it until the end.

Only Li 'ASD' Zhiwen was capable of killing four of the Peruvian heroes. The best player on Infamous' side was Mariano 'p4pita' Caneda on Dark Seer with seven kills and zero deaths.

Did you expect EHOME's run to end in the first round of the Lower Bracket?
