The current TI champions are fighting for their first trophy of the season: OG is already in the top three at ESL One Katowice 2019. Only two more wins and OG is back on track. Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein and his team-mates didn't have an easy opponent in the Lower Bracket. They had to play against Fnatic. Offlaner Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang and his squad had a good performance in Group B. They lost just two games and finished first in their group.

However, they surprisingly lost against AS Monaco Gambit in their first Upper Bracket match and were sent to LB where they faced OG.

Ceb's Doom is too strong

Fnatic had a good start in the series with an early lead. However, the panel was sure that Fnatic's picks are risky - they needed to push the lanes fast. Otherwise, Igor 'ILTW' Filatov's Phantom Assassin and Sebastien 'Ceb' Debs's Doom would get too strong over time.

Although OG didn't have many kills, their gold advantage grew every minute and Doom's farm was incredibly high. After 36 minutes OG already had a 20.000 gold lead and just had to win one more fight to end this game.

The perfect three man stun by Jesse 'JerAx' Vainikka sealed the deal for OG. However, the MVP of this game was Ceb on Doom. He was leading in GPM, XPM, networth and damage by far. Just to give you a reference: Fnatic's Abed 'Abed' Yusop and Pyo 'MP' Noa dealt 22.200 damage - Ceb had 32.500.

Game two was a clean stomp by OG: they completely outdrafted iceiceice and his team-mates. The South-east Asian team had to call 'GG' after 26 minutes and just seven kills. They didn't find a solution to handle ILTW's Phantom Assassin and he killed eight of Fnatic's heroes in that time.

OG needs to face Gambit Esports again

In the next round of the Lower Bracket OG will play against Gambit Esports. The CIS squad lost earlier today against Team Secret in the Upper Bracket Finals.

It's not the first time Gambit and OG play against each other this season - and Artem 'fng' Barshack led the team to two victories against the TI8 champions. Gambit beat OG in the WePlay! Dota 2 Winter Madness Finals online and also 2:0'd them in first round of the Upper Bracket at The Bucharest Minor.

Can OG get revenge and beat Gambit this time?
