Katowice’s iconic Spodek arena will once again play host to some of the best teams in Dota 2 at ESL One Katowice 2019 — and now we know the talent who will be bringing us all the coverage of the $300,000 event.

Heading up the desk for a second year running is host Paul “Redeye” Chaloner, in what will be his seventh year in Katowice across all esports and tenth Dota 2 event for ESL alone — stretching all the way back to ESL One Frankfurt 2014.

Joining him on hosting duties is Eri Neeman, while Jorien “Sheever” van der Heijen — returning to Dota 2 after having taken time off — assumes the role of reporter.

Expert analysis will be provided by Kevin “Purge” Godec and Kyle “Kyle” Freedman, alongside Alan “Nahaz” Bester and his array of deep and complex statistics.

Finally, bringing the hype during matches will be a team of five commentators well-known to audiences — Ionannis “Fogged” Loucas, Toby “TobiWan” Dawson, Owen “ODPixel” Davies, Austin “Capitalist” Walsh and William “Blitz” Lee.

The event kicks off on February 19 with three days of Group Stage action, which sees the twelve teams split into two groups. Four from each group advance to the Playoffs taking place February 22-24, and will be played in front of a live audience in the Spodek Arena.

Who do you think will win ESL One Katowice 2019?
