ADVERTISING:It should've been the first master piece of OG's new hard carry Igor 'ILTW' Filatov. The 19-year-old Russian Dota 2 player replaced Per Anders 'Pajkatt' Olsson L. earlier this week at OG. Although he had a great performance throughout the tournament, OG got crushed in the Grand Finals.
What a dominant performance by Gambit Esports! The Russian squad beat every favourite in the online tournament: Forward Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas and OG - all three teams got defeated by the squad around the new captain Artem 'fng' Barshack.
Not as convincing as on day one
iLTW played Anti-Mage twice in the first two games and changed to Terrorblade afterwards, but his stats were not convincing this time. Especially his Terrorblade game was a disaster - he didn't manage to get a single kill on the carry position. Whereas Vasily 'Afterlife' Shishkin had a great day on the carry position.
Game one was a stomp: the game lasted 18 minutes and OG didn't even have time to really get a start in the match. Although OG tried different heroes in the following two games, they didn't find a solution to stop the aggressive Russian play style.
OG has three more days of preparation, before they'll start in The Bucharest Minor. We'll see, if it's enough time to implement iLTW in OG's play style.
Can OG win the Minor?
