OG won The International 2018 and Anathan 'ana' Pham had a huge impact. Everybody will remember his Ember Spirit game in the last match against PSG.LGD. Fans were hyped to see the team again competing for the first time in the qualifier for The Chongqing Major, but now there's a shocking message: Ana takes a break from professional Dota 2. It was one of the toughest season for OG. Tal 'Fly' Aizik and Gustav 's4' Magnusson left and Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein had to start over again with a new OG squad.

He convinced Anathan 'ana' Pham to rejoin OG and signed Topias 'Topson' Taavitsainen one of the most talented carries in the world. The story that follows will be unforgotten: OG traveled to Vancouver as an underdog to compete at The International 2018, but left as champions.

The team decided to take a break after the victory and didn't compete at The Kuala Lumpur Major. The first games of the team are only one week away, because they start in the closed qualifier for the next Major.

Who will replace Ana?

However, it seems like Ana decided to leave the team a second time. Here are his words to the fans:

Thank you to all the guys in this team, it was a pleasure playing/working again with them plus some new members! I would also like to thank ppasarel and Charlie for being such great assistance to myself and the team. For now, I think more time is needed for myself and right now my motivation lies elsewhere. Good luck to these great bunch of guys and I wish them the very best!
OG will always be the happy place! - Anathan 'ana' Pham

Although he decided to take a break from Dota 2, the Australian carry won't leave the team completely. Ana will be the official substitute for the upcoming Dota 2 Pro Circuit helping the team whenever a player won't be competing. Captain Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein addresses the fans himself, too:

To the fans,
Thank you all for showing us this incredible positivity and support that helped us throughout TI. Couldn’t have done it without you. The dota 2017-2018 season gave us a lot of good games and a few new faces, but Ana is somebody we all knew and to think he’d return to us after close to a year of not playing together. What a journey this year was, and to my own surprise what an ending it had.
When I think back at TI8 Ana Ember pops into my head and leaves me smiling, wonder what other people think when someone says TI8 Ana.

To Ana,
Thanks brother, thank you for the best few months of my professional life. To see you lay the haters down one by one and keep climbing higher is a true inspiration to me and others that see it. Can’t wait to see you soon down under my man, all the best - Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein

OG announces soon the stand-in they'll be using for the upcoming qualifier. Right now, they don't have a replacement for Ana.

Who do you think would be a good replacement for Ana?
