Yesterday Dota Pit announced the dates for their next event - and it fits perfectly to get a Minor slot for the Dota 2 Pro Circuit. It wouldn't be the first time for them to host a Minor. Normally, a small teaser doesn't give a lot of information about a event. However, this time we can assume that the small teaser is a big hint for the Dota 2 Pro Circuit.

The next Dota Pit tournament got announced via a Facebook event page giving us the exact date when the tournament will be taking place: April 22nd-28th - this fits perfectly for Valve's DPC tournament plan.

Earlier this season they announced the dates of all Minors and Majors for the upcoming season without saying which organization will host it and in which country the tournaments will be held. The fourth Minor of this season has exactly the same dates Dota Pit announced on Friday. Coincedence?

Not the first Croatian Minor

It wouldn't be the first time Dota Pit can get the rights to hold a Minor: the AMD Sapphire Dota Pit Minor last season was the second Minor of 2017-18. Back then Team Liquid won the tournament by beating Vici Gaming in the Grand Finals.

Dota Pit usually takes place in a hotel close to the historical city of Split in Southern Croatia. Although making it open to public not many people attended the last event. It's possible that they switch the location this time to Zagreb, Croatia's capital, to attract more people.

However, this would mean that already three of the five Minors of this season will be situated in Europe. DreamLeague Season 10 was in Stockholm and The Bucharest Minor will be in Romania's capital city.

What do you think? Will Dota Pit be a Minor?
