WESG 2017 is one of the few tournaments with World Cup character - only teams with all five players from the same country are allowed to participate. While we're in the middle of a roster shuffle, Team USA got announced as well as two Canadian squads. Which one is the best?



Yawar 'YawaR' Hassan announced on Twitter that he will finally play side-by-side with his younger brother Sumail 'SumaiL' Syed Hassan. Arif 'MSS' Anwar, Avery 'SVG' Silverman and Saahil 'Universe' Arora will play for Team USA, too. This means the former VGJ.S squad will just bring in a new midlaner since Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok can only start for Ukraine.

Team USA will get some tough competition in North America thanks to their giant neighbour: Canada has two teams which will try to compete at the next edition of WESG.




The first one was announced by David 'Moonmeander' Tan who has no team at the moment after leaving compLexity Gaming last week. He will be joined by the Evil Geniuses duo Tal 'Fly' Aizik and Artour 'Arteezy' Babaev. The last two players in the squad are Jonathan Bryle 'Bryle' Santos De Guia and Theeban '1437' Siva.




The second Canadian squad features Jacky 'EternaLEnVy' Mao who just recently announced that he won't play for Fnatic and in Southeast Asia for the next season. His former coach Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling will make his comeback as a player in the Canadian squad. Jio 'Jeyo' Madayag, Kim 'Febby' Yong-Min and Peter 'Waytosexy' Nguyen are the last three players to complete the roster.
