We watched the Hourly Prize Pool Tracking Comparison Graph for 102 days to eventually celebrate the new record. In the recent weeks, it didn't look like we'd break TI7's record, but in the end Valve's decision to introduce this year's Compendium six days earlier has proven to be the right call.
We have a prize pool with more than $24.8 million now and it still has five more days to even surpass the $25 million mark. Aside from the players fighting for the record prize pool, fans have another reason to celebrate: ten Battle Pass levels will be granted for every Compendium owner.
Mirana's new mount is dope
However, breaking the record for the largest prize pool is not the only tradition that hit us over the weekend: The International 2018 Trove Carafe arrived and it includes a new mount for Mirana. While it caused performance problems at the beginning, its value is still more than $150 right now.
