The second day of group stage matches for The International 2018 South American qualifiers have been put off a day while FACEIT and Valve try to find a solution for connection issues. As a result, SA playoffs have also moved ahead by one day.

FACEIT's statement does not mention any possible cuase of the connection issues, but a tweet from Thunder Predator alludes to the idea that this may have been due to a DDoS attack.

The match between Torus Gaming and Thunder Predator last night could not be completed due to severl full-team disconnects including a time where both teams completely disconnected, leading to the decision to postpone.

No further update has been posted, so we'll have to wait and see what happens when SA matches resume later today. The first match is scheduled for 12:00 EDT, or 18:00 CEST.
