Mineski are looking nigh unstoppable after their 2-0 victory over PSG.LGD in the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018 upper bracket final this morning.

Much like Mineski's match yesterday against Vici Gaming, this match was a real treat. The first game of the series came down to Mineski's last pick - a rarely seen Huskar, the first time the hero has been chosen at the main event. LGD were ill-prepared to deal with a Huskar backed up by an Oracle. LGD were run over in a quick 27-minute game, setting up match point for Mineski in the main show - Game 2.

The second game of the series was an all-out bloodbath. Five heroes across the two teams had ten or more deaths and the hero with the fewest was a tie between Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang's Underlord and Kam 'Moon' Boon Seng's Tiny, who had "just" six each.

The aggressive game got off to a very early start and never let up. Things stayed relatively even for the first 30 minutes but LGD inched into the lead during a short lull in the late game. However, a series of huge kills for Mineski around the 44 and 46-minute marks pushed the game their way. From that point, the fights got even more crazy but Nana's Toss combos to start fights always ensured that LGD started off on the back foot.

Those tosses were a huge part of Mineski's game-winning team fight. Michael 'ninjaboogie' Ross's Vengeful Spirit was forced to buy back early on, but when LGD rushed forward to help Yao 'Somnus' Lu Rapier-carrying Gyrocopter, who had been caught out, each hero was tossed in quick succession and finished off.

This win puts Mineski in the DAC 2018 Grand Final. It may seem hard to believe, but they are the first Southeast Asian team to make it all the way to a Major Grand Final since the Majors were introduced. Mineski have been in multiple Minor Grand Finals and even won the PGL Open: Bucharest, but this is a first for Majors. Whether or not they win tomorrow's Grand Final, this placement will put them in the Top 8 of the DPC point ranking.

Mineski keep calm in key moments and stride into the #DAC2018 Grand Finals with a performance for the ages as they 2-0 LGD. pic.twitter.com/gjFrQqzGdL— Perfect World_DOTA2 (@PWRD_DOTA2) April 6, 2018
