OG have somewhat redeemed yesterday's shaky performance against Fnatic with a dominant 2-0 over paiN Gaming* to keep themselves alive in the DreamLeague Season 9 Minor.

Both OG and paiN lost their opening matches 2-0 yesterday, but in today's lower bracket elimination match it looked like paiN's globetrotting had finally gotten the best of them while OG seemed re-energized. Even in the post-match interview, Jerax acknowledged the fact that the team was pretty exhausted for yesterday's match.

paiN, meanwhile, were in China for WESG 2017 in between trips to Bucharest and Sweden - where they are currently. At WESG they fought all the way through to the Grand Final, where they managed to take a game off of a Russian all-star team, but it seems likely they're a bit worn out at this point.

Both games were one-sided wins for OG but the first went a bit better for paiN in the early game. William 'hFnk3' Medeiros's Medusa had a great time in the midlane but OG were able to get aggressive quickly with Sebastien 'Ceb' Debs's Pugna and Johan 'BigDaddyN0tail' Sundstein's Terrorblade. paiN were quickly overwhelmed and the game ended just short of 29 minutes.

The second game went well for OG from the first moment, and 7ckngmad's Razor was the star of the show. He crushed Danilo 'Arms' Silva's Venomancer in the midlane and absolutely balled out of control. He moved around the map wreaking havoc and draining damage everywhere he went, and had accumulated 825 GPM with a KDA of 22/0/7 by the end of the game.

This win has kept OG in the tournament, but they'll likely face a much stronger foe in the next round: They will be playing the loser of tonight's match between Team Secret and Newbee — both rather formidable opponents.
