Int Fnatic have struggled to get past ph TNC Predator in qualifiers since adding Saahil 'Universe' Arora to their roster, but this week's performance in DreamLeague saw Fnatic finally take down the team that's been standing in their way. Congrats to @fnatic on making it to the LAN finals at the Monster Energy DreamHack Studios! Tomorrow we'll be tackling the EU bracket, so don't miss out! pic.twitter.com/AnCyVYHOxn— DreamHack Dota (@DreamHackDota) February 14, 2018

Fnatic have been knocked out by TNC in three of the last four qualifiers they've played - The Bucharest Major 2018, Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018 and EPICENTER XL. They successfully qualified for GESC E-Series: Jakarta, but TNC did not compete in that qualifier. The qualifier before those four was the last one they played with Chong Xin 'Ohaiyo' Khoo - in which they beat TNC 3-2 in the final.

It looks like Fnatic are regaining their form again after about a month with their new offlaner. TNC were Fnatic's upper bracket final opponents yesterday. The two teams seemed quite evenly matched, but Fnatic took the series 2-1 after dropping the first game. After today's 2-0 victory against Execration in the final, they've booked their ticket to the DreamLeague Season 9 Minor.

Both Saahil 'Universe' Arora and Jacky 'EternaLEnVy' Mao stepped up their game in today's final, making plays for the team on Beastmaster and Razor in the first game, then the slightly unexpected Centaur Warrunner and Leshrac in the second.

With this win, Fnatic have three tournaments on the horizon - ESL One Katowice 2018 in just under a week, GESC E-Series: Jakarta, and DreamLeague. With a few more LAN events to build up points, they could soon threaten to overtake my Mineski on the Qualifying Point ranking. At the moment Mineski have 900 points in 6th while Fnatic have 390 in 11th.
