The WESG 2017 Americas Finals LAN is still a couple months away, but the smaller regional qualifiers are almost finished. The only remaining regions are Canada and the USA, which will both take place early in the new year. Not many teams are signed up yet, but one Canadian squad already looks like a shoe-in for the LAN.
Finally, a Dota 2 team us Canadians can get behind

Team Canada (OCAN for short) are the all-Canadian team of our dreams. The first members of the lineup have been registered on WESG's website since mid-October, but the final member joined much more recently, on Nov 29.

The full roster of Team Canada (positions confirmed on Twitter):

ca Artour 'Arteezy' Babaev
ca Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling
ca David 'Moonmeander' Tan
ca Theeban '1437' Siva
il Tal 'Fly' Aizik
kr Kim 'Febby' Yong-Min (reserve)
ca Wilson 'Fronz' Teng (reserve)

At the moment, only two other teams are registered in the Canadian qualifier and two qualifier slots are reserved for the LAN final. Unless a few more teams join before the sign-up deadline of Jan 8, it's going to be an awfully short qualifier. The USA qualifier is even more barren, with just two teams registered for three LAN qualifier spots. That's literally a free LAN trip if just one more team signs up. At the moment, us Team Blue Pikachu and Team USA have signed up.

Team USA's roster:

us Kartik 'Kitrak' Rathi
us Ravi 'ritsu' Kodippili
us Sam 'Bulba' Sosale
us Eric 'Ryoya' Dong
us Arif 'MSS' Anwar
