You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

We believe we've put together the perfect Kunkka set. Even if you don't have the two Immortals, the rest of the set is made up with dirt cheap commons, so anyone's Kunkka can look this good if they want him to.

Weapon: Leviathan Whale Blade

TI3 was the first International to have a compendium, which gave each person ONE Immortal Reliquary and, if you were lucky, you got this excellent sword. It doesn't just look awesome, it also comes with a special Torrent effect which adds a whale's tail to the column of water.

Shoulder: Prize of the Saltworn Mariner

Unfortunately, if you don't have this item you've missed the boat. It was only available to owners of the TI7 compendium who levelled up to 225 and will never be Tradeable or Marketable. This is the second item in the theme of adding animals into Kunkka's spell animations. With this equipped, your Ghostship will instead be a huge ghost shark.

Head: Ernest Do of the Voyager

There are other, arguably better, head slot items for Kunkka out there (shoutout to the Admiral's Prow hat which is in the game files, but not available). The important thing about this one is that it includes a pipe. You'll find out why that matters with the next item on the list.

Misc: Ye Olde Pipe

Thanks to the arbitrarily included Misc slot in Kunkka's loadout, he can dual-wield pipes. There's a running theme of pairs in this set, and the double pipe is a subtle but important inclusion.

Legs: Pegleg of the Cursed Pirate

Our next theme is "missing appendages". Kunkka can remove both a hand and a foot thanks to this item and the next one. There's another pegleg item available (called Peg Leg of the Renegade). They're the same price on the Community Market, but this one includes a custom run animation.

Gloves: Captain's Hook

Bracers have got to be just about the most boring cosmetic item in existance, but the Captain's Hook makes the Glove slot awesome. This bright yellow hook stands out nicely and completes the third pair in the set, the missing appendages.

Back: Firebreather of the Voyager

The final pair is guns. Kunkka's Back and Belt slots are used for a variety of different types of items, but if you've got the Prize of the Saltworn Mariner equipped, it really takes up most of your visual real estate anyway. In that case, why not accent your set with a pair of guns strapped to your chest?

Belt: Claddish Voyager's Second Chance

This is a belt AND a gun. That's value. Kunkka doesn't even shoot any guns in any of his spells, but no matter. He apparently loves to accent his outfits with them, and they fit in with our aesthetic well.

Taunt: Step Lively

This is another one you're out of luck for if you didn't get it from the TI7 compendium, but thankfully it will be marketable eventually... in 2018.
