China has finished, Europe is just around the corner and Americas was announced last week, so it's time for the WESG APAC qualifiers to open registration.

As with the other WESG regional events, the only way in is through the open qualifiers, to be be held in seventeen sub-regions. Most teams will have just one winner advance, though two will come from Malaysia, Phillipines and China.

The main APAC LAN event hasn't had a venue announcement yet, but it will be held in China Jan 11-14. It will feature a prize pool of $92,500 for the Dota 2 event (CS:GO, SC2 and Hearthstone will also be played), while the Global LAN Final in March boasts $1,500,000.

China already held its own seperate regional final, but just one team advanced directly to the Global Final through that event. The 2nd and 3rd place Chinese teams, cn Rock.Young and cn Keen Gaming, will have a chance to progress to the event in March, but they'll have to fight through the APAC LAN first.
