It's been a series of one-sided games in StarLadder today, and while Game 1 of Na`Vi vs Secret got off to an even start, in the end it was no exception. Secret played several comfort heroes, with jo Yazied 'YapzOr' Jaradat Earth Spirit, ee Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov Bane and de Adrian 'Fata' Trinks Puck. Fata died six times in the first eleven minutes but still managed to scrape together the gold for a Blink Dagger by the sixteen minute mark.

On the other side of the map, ua Vladislav 'Crystallize' Krystanek had a good time on his Monkey King, but the rest of his team fell behind quickly. The midgame was a bit of a standoff, with Secret and Na`Vi making moves and counter moves to force heroes to rotate around the map, but Na`Vi only managed to pick off Puppey repeatedly, allowing Secret's net worth to snowball.

After a couple of devastating late-game teamfights in which Na`Vi were completely team-wiped, Secret secured the first win of the series.

My brood needs food

Broodmother was a very popular pick today but when Na`Vi picked it up for ua Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin, Secret had the answer. Laning my Yeik Nai 'MidOne' Zheng's Dragon Knight against the spider allowed Secret to keep their Tier 1 tower in the midlane safe, even taking Na`Vi's Tier 1 in just 8 minutes using the power of DK's Elder Dragon Form.

This game was almost entirely the Team Secret show, though Na`Vi managed to turn one fight late into the game that gave the crowd in Kiev something to cheer about.

The fight looked like it could be the start of better fortunes for Na`Vi, but Secret quickly regained control of the game. They assaulted Na`Vi's highground and ended the game less than 10 minutes later with an almost 24k net worth lead.

With this win, Team Secret have secured a spot in the StarLadder playoffs tomorrow.
