It's been a rough year for compLexity. After making it to The International 2016 as a Wild Card team but not making it to the main event, the team lost three of their members. The squad's roster for both TI5 and TI6 had been strong, but putting together another roster for TI7 proved to be a struggle.
Numerous players came and went, and coL came 4th in TI7 NA qualifiers, missing Seattle entirely for the first time since signing stayGreen back in mid 2014.
But now, things are looking up for coL. Chessie's original impetus for leaving was health issues, but he's taken the year to rest and recuperate. Limmp has spent the year with Alliance, gaining valuable experience from a new set of teammates in his home region. They've both moved back to the Florida teamhouse now.
Moo has been with compLexity since being kicked from Digital Chaos after their amazing 2nd place finish at TI6, and made the move to the carry role a couple of months later. Swindlezz has played some offlane, but mostly support after playing offlane at TI6, but he's returned to support for upcoming season.
However, just days after reuniting in Florida, the squad has been forced to evacuate their home ahead of Hurrican Irma. Thankfully, BeyondtheSummit have offered the team a place to stay and play their matches in LA.
2/2 in just a few hours we will drive to Orlando and fly to LA to ride out the storm and play our matches from the @BeyondTheSummit house.— Kyle Bautista (@coL_Beef) September 6, 2017
The new compLexity roster is:
Rasmus 'Chessie' Blomdin
Linus 'Limmp' Blomdin
David 'Moo' Hull
Kyle 'Kyle' Freedman
Zakari 'ZfreeK' Freedman
