The new roster will be completely international with all five players coming from different nations. The team's new mid player will be Feras 'Feero' Hroob, the Jordanian player who was part of Team B)ears at the start of the year but whose career slowed down after a period with compLexity Gaming, ultimately leaving the team after coL finished 2 spots short of an invite to TI7.
In the offlane the team has Kim 'Velo' Taesung, who competed for the final iteration of MVP Phoenix before their disband and has more recently played for Malaysian based organisation Geek Fam. Galvin 'Meracle-' Kang Jian Wen will be the team's carry while Kenneth 'FlySolo' Coloma will be on support.
However, the most surprising addition is Khaled 'sQreen' Al-Habbash, a notorious Russian player who has done the rounds in the tier 2 scene with different iterations of his own "Sqreen's Squad". Sqreen has played for more than 20 teams in the space of 3 years, never staying in one roster for longer than six months, making his addition a curious one, especially as he has been named the team's captain.
Warriors Gaming Unity's biggest achievement to date was qualifying for the Boston Major at the end of 2016, but lost their edge after the departure of Soon Chuan 'ah fu' Tue, who made quite an impact playing for LFY at the International 7 earlier this month. This will is a bold move for the organisation that are clearly hoping to try something different heading into the 2017-2018 season.
