Team Secret have wrapped up a perfect groupstage run with a third and final 2-0 victory, this time over DAC champions Invictus Gaming. An important win for @TeamSecret against one of the tournament's favorites. GG @invgaming #kievmajor pic.twitter.com/USabXzFSU5— PGL (@pglesports) April 25, 2017

eu Team Secret turned cn Invictus Gaming's signature Riki against them in the first game, giving the sneaky hero over to ee Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov, who proved to be a real thorn in iG's side thanks to his constant roaming and scouting. cn Lin 'Xxs' Jing' Legion Commander was so shut down that he never won any duel damage - in fact he gave damage to my Yeik Nai 'MidOne' Zheng twice, and even to Puppey once.

cn Xu 'BurNIng' Zhilei's Sven had plenty of stacks made for him, but Secret quickly took map control with their strong pushing power and soon it wasn't safe to farm, lest iG risk death at the hands of MidOne's Templar Assassin, who had 18 of Secret's 25 kills by the end of the game.

In Game 2, kr Pyo 'MP' Noa's Spectre had one of the best early games a Spectre could dream of having. His trilane suports were Crystal Maiden and Kunnka, and with their combined lockdown ability he had four kills before the 5 minute mark.

iG went for their now standard mass-Hand of Midas build, which helped them stay in the game for a good long time, but with team fights frequently going about this well for Secret, iG's fate seemed inevitable:

Team Secret's coordination was impeccable and they very patiently whittled down iG until the GG call was forced at the 50 minute mark.

With this win, Team Secret are finished with their group stage matches and are one of the top seeds. They will face bottom seed br SG e-sports in the first round of playoffs.
