Mihai 'canceL' Vasile joined 
compLexity Gaming in September 2016, during the post TI6 shuffle. He is a relatively fresh face in the Dota 2 scene, having played for all Romanian squad XPC.ro* before joining Kaipi, where he played from September 2015 to April 2016."When we first recruited Antonio I was a bit skeptical. His reputation wasn’t the greatest, nor was his track record," said coL General Manager Kyle "Beef" Bautista in a statement. "Much to my delight, it turned out that he was not only a skilled player, but an exceptional human being."
However, according to compLexity's announcement, canceL himself was concerned that his performance was holding back the team, and made the decision to leave after a discussion with his teammates.
"I decided to take some time to work on my play individually, rather than holding my team back," said canceL. "I am stepping down in the hopes that the team can find someone that is able to help them win, while I improve on my own."
compLexity are now looking for a suitable replacement for canceL, but will play with standins for their upcoming matches. For tonight's Elimination Mode games, they will play with
Eric 'Ryoya' Dong.The organization also mentions that they hope canceL will remain with the organization as a streamer, but this is not yet decided.
