The shuffle that always follows TI keeps taking it's toll on teams; this time hitting Na'Vi. Earlier this month, the team were rumoured to be sticking together, however this was quickly contradicted by the team dropping out of the Gaming Resorts tournament due to 'heavy roster changes'. It then became clear that the team would not be staying the same.
The first victim of the shuffle is their captain Artstyle, who returned to the professional scene to help the team bounce back from a disappointing start to 2015. Ivan lead the team to a 2nd place in the 3rd season of the Asus ROG DreamLeague, and a 1st place in the TI5 European qualifiers that secured them a slot in the group stages of the main event, that they were later eliminated from in the 1st game of the lower bracket.
Ivan 'Artstyle' Antonov had the following to say about his departure:
Unfortunately, we failed at The International 2015. Thus, we agreed that the right decision would be for me to leave the team. I wish the guys all the best of luck and many bright victories on their way. As for me, I am not going to stop playing and will come back to professional scene really soon.
There is no word yet on who will replace Artstyle in Na'Vi, but the decision will have to come soon since the deadline for the roster lock is approaching.
The same announcement also says goodbye to Ivan 'Vanskor' Skorokhod, that has been a stand-in for the team for the past couple of months, despite also playing with Mamas Boys*.
The current Na'Vi roster is:
Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich
Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin
Gleb 'Funn1k' Lipatnikov
Akbar 'SoNNeikO' Butaev
