CoL and NAR both sign up to BTS' $10,000 showdown ahead of TI5

posted by EskayDota,
us compLexity Gaming, us North American Rejects* and us Champions of Summer's Rift* are among the 14 teams confirmed to compete in the tournament, which takes place on the 1st of July and runs until the 19th. They will be competing for the first place prize of $4500 in a tough single elimination bracket. With the tournament so close to TI, there will be close attention paid to dominant American qualifier winners, Complexity, who secured a spot at TI comfortably last month.

The newly announced BTS Americas will be organized by Beyond the Summit in partnership with FaceIT. The tournament aims to foster growth at the roots of the North American scene, evidenced by the open qualifier's $750 prize pool split between the finalists. The top two teams will then join the 14 invites to round out the 16 squad single-elimination main event.

FPL has already begun registration for the open qualifier, which is free to compete in! The qualifier is set to begin at 12:00 EDT on June 27th, and will conclude on the 28th. Hurry up and get your stack together!

The current CoL roster are likely favourites for the tournament

The competition opens itself to the community, hosting open qualifiers for two teams to join at the main event. Those who finish 1st and 2nd in the open qualifiers will not only receive a chance to compete, but will receive $500 and $250 prizes respectively.
