The trailer starts in the Nightsilver Woods where Selemene, goddess of the moon, left a gift for her devotes: purple lotus flowers. These flowers recently appeared in-game as well, as they blossomed on the Radiant side of the River. Invoker appears while the off-camera voice explains that if he lays these flowers on earth, she (Selemene) will return.
Terrorblade steps on the scene
Netflix keeps expanding their hero pool, as they also uploaded an unlisted teaser which features Terrorblade. There is not much information on what role the Demon Marauder is going to play. His only line in the video is "All you have to do is let me in". Terrorblade's lore per se does not cross with DK or Mirana. He was a gruesome hellion that broke every law possible and was sentenced to stay in the Foulfell prison, the hell of hell for demons. He managed to break free, but his backstory and responses don't hint to a relationship with the other protagonists.
Valve spread hints about a potential crossover
In Dota Underlords however, there are voice lines that teased a connection between DK and Terrorblade. DK has the following responses when fighting against TB:
"You will answer for what you did, Terrorblade!" and "I've been waiting for this, Terrorblade." The game also hinted at a romance between Mirana and DK, as the dragon responded to her with "We could've been something, Mirana" and says that he wants to buy her a drink.
Interestingly, TB also has a voice line where he tells Anti-Mage "Let me in" – the same wording as in the Netflix teaser.
The 2020 Battle Pass also teased the first crossover of Foulfell and Nightsilver Woods, the sacred forest of Selemene. The Cavern Crawl where players had to complete in-game quests was titled "Nightsilver & Foulfell".
First of all, my condolences to @valvesoftware because it is now clear that the #TI10 BP was themed around this trailer reveal and the pandemic ruined it.
