The highlight of the day in the European qualifier for the The Kuala Lumpur Major should have been Team Secret vs Team Liquid, but Alliance caught Peter 'ppd' Dager and his Ninjas in Pyjamas off-guard and qualified for the Major. Ninjas in Pyjamas already demonstrated their potential in the group stage of the qualifier against the favourites around Kuro S. 'KuroKy' Takhasomi at Team Liquid.

In the second game of the series, it took ppd and his squad less than 15 minutes to force the 'GG' out of the TI7 champions. The result was that Liquid had to play against Team Secret in the first round of the Upper Bracket. Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov and his teammates beat TL 2-0 to qualify for the Major.

However, the real highlight was the match between ppd's team and Alliance. The Swedes were granted a direct invite to the qualifier and finished in second place in their group by beating The Final Tribe. Not many were expecting Alliance to win against NiP, but the Swedes proved all their haters wrong. With that 2-0, they've earned their spot at the Major.

Two dominant victories made Alliance's dream come true. The joinDOTA League Season 13 winner bested one of the best teams in Europe. They will play against Team Secret in the Upper Bracket Final.

Who takes the third Major slot?

This means that NiP, Liquid and two other teams will be fighting for the last Major slot from Europe. Therefore, at least one of the two European top teams will have to try to qualify for the Major by winning the Minor in Stockholm, maybe even both.

Which team will get the third slot for The Kuala Lumpur Major?
