D2CL playoffs have just come to a close and we finally have our last team to join the rest at DreamHack Masters Bucharest, as world Team Tinker toppled their opponent by PR in an entertaining Bo3 series that ended just moments ago. The final four to battle for supremacy and a hefty ~$75,000 prize pool are: world Team Tinker, ru Team Empire, us SNA & ua Na’Vi.

The match was originally intended to be played as best-of-five series, but due to the tight schedule and in agreement with both parties it was moved to an earlier timeslot, as well as being played as a Bo3 series instead. This was to allow both teams to utilize their full line-ups as players from world Team Tinker will depart for the Starladder LAN finals later tonight, only to travel to DH Bucharest a week later. Scheduling conflicts similar to this have become increasingly common as of late, but luckily for all parties involved, both teams were able to play the game earlier than what was at first planned.

The first game was a rather one-sided one as world Team Tinker was able to get the ball rolling early with a dual-core of Slark and Viper, and break the back of the Belarussian team as they looked to find a foothold in the game. With qojqva finishing 13-1-11 on the Slark and Pajkatt not too far behind on his Viper (7-2-11) in game one, it looked to be a tall order for by PR to bounce back in game two as Tinker was looking strong all around. The second game of the series was a treat for the viewers as both teams traded blow for blow and the game was practically dead-even all the way to the 30-minute mark. With a better coordination and few key pickoffs Team Tinker was able to wrestle over the control of the game and finally, on top of a ridiculously farmed Slark, they were able to get the kills they needed to secure the victory and a ticket to the DH Masters Bucharest 2014.

D2CL Season IV LAN final is scheduled to kick off on October 31st lasting three days, as the four qualified teams battle for all the bragging rights as well as large amount of cash in prize money. Tune in for the Dreamhack Masters Bucharest 2014 to watch quality Dota and to support your favorite team to victory.
