Only fitting that this DPC system embarrasses itself by ending with PGL/Perfect World inviting both @evilgeniuses who lost their last 2 NA qualifiers and @OGesports to the last and highest value major. OG isn't even eligible for DPC points. Very disappointing...

The Supermajor at the end of the season will be the last big highlight before The International 8 is held in Vancouver.
A bigger prizepool and more DPC points can change the ranking on the very last day - only eight teams can qualify for TI8 directly. Although no official announcement has confirmed the first Invites, OpTic's captain ppd already leaked the two teams - Evil Geniuses and OG - and is not happy about the decision.
OG can't earn points and is still invited
After @OpTicGaming take Starladder (their first DPC points of the season), it drops the TI8 Guaranteed Invite line to 5402 points.

Also, the winner of the Supermajor should get 3375 points, which is currently enough to guarantee 5th place. Scary few events left!
The importance of the Supermajor is known to everybody and the winner of the tournament is safe for TI, so why does OG get an invite?
After Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok left the European squad, they were out of the ranking and couldn't qualifiy directly for TI8. Despite not being able to earn points, PGL and Perfect World invited the squad to the Supermajor.
Next to that, one of North America's Minor winner, EG, will get their next invite after ESL One Birmingham although they didn't make it through the qualifier for Mars Media Dota 2 League: Changsha and EPICENTER XL.
Next to ppd leaking two invites, we don't have any information about the tournament yet - even the amount of invites is not known.
