*UPDATE*

Can't Say Wips have announced that they will be taking on Xtinct to replace the now departed r1sk, they are also now competing in the DAC Southeast Asian qualifiers, utilizing the position that Team KS once held. This comes only days after the team was embroiled in controversy after failing to receive an invite initially.

CSW's statement regarding the DAC qualifiers:

We are happy to announce that renowned SEA player Xtinct will be taking r1sk's spot in the roster, with the addition of Xtinct we are also playing in the DAC SEA qualifiers. Both Godot and xmusica are flying to Singapore to play the qualifiers on LAN with Xtinct, Tudi and Chains.

Thanks to all our fans who have supported us in the past and especially in the last few days! We are very thankful for the opportunity to be able to compete with the best teams in SEA and China!

David "r1sk" Arnous tweeted his decision to retire earlier today:

Not a part of CSW anymore, can't devote enough time. It's been fun but this is the end of my international Dota career, retiring a champion. Best of luck to my ex-teammates, looking forward to still following the scene and having more time to spare for other commitments.

The team's official statement was:

We have some sad news to share, our support player and freind, David 'r1sk' Arnous, is today announcing his retirement from competitive DOTA 2 effective immediately. We would like to wish r1sk all the best in his future endeavours and express our sincere gratitude for the time and effort he has put into the team. We have nothing to announce as far as a replacement at this point, but rest assured we will update you all shortly. As always thank you for supporting us!

Their success could have been the beginning of something magical, but r1sk has decided to quit while he's ahead to concentrate on other pursuits, with Can't Say Wips' $24,000 victory at the ok.- Dota 2 Cup last month marking the end of his career.
