Hon is much harder then dota 2 to get used to. Dota 2 teams wouldn't beat Fnatic in Hon any time soon.

You're making me laugh. Fnatic lost, so please accept it. Stop finding stupid excuses. This is DotA, not HoN. If Fnatic chooses to play DotA, they must forget about HoN. You can't compare the performances in 2 different games. Its like saying, a DotA team wouldn't beat a CS team any time soon. OBVIOUSLY, because DotA players aint gonna play CS and vice versa.
AND MORE OVER, the gameplay bw/ HoN and DotA is the same. Same physics, same terrain, same projectile speed, even same heroes in some. I play both, and I see no significant difference in gameplay.
The bottom line is: once the player decides to participate in a game professionally, a loss is a loss regardless whatever excuses. Shit team blames their loss on excuses like you've said, good team accepts their loss.
BEST team EMBRACEs it.

This clapik speaks the truth, allthough I feel like Fnatic has been very humble in their losses. And personality vise, they definately seem like the kind to embrace a loss over making excuses, atleast n0tail and fly. h4nni, definately the latter however.

Firstly: decide what is your final opinion. Are those two games the same, or different? Secondly: In my opinion (and most of my friends who plays both HON and DotA2), DotA 2 is much slower than Hon. I also feel like I can farm much easier. Thirdly: HoN moved a little bit further to be more competitive friendly. They removed most of random skills (all the bashes, crits etc.). Lastly: most new heroes in Hon are more skill based than in DotA/DotA 2. At least there are no heroes with 3 passives like Skeleton King.

As for casters, especially co-caster. He is a freaking hater. He was insulting one of the best teams in the world. Sure, I'm talking about HoN, but you cannot say all this things, like he said at the beginning, to the team who was so innovative in HoN. I didn't like, that Fnatic moved from HoN to DotA2, but I cannot wait until they get accustomed with game and show what they are worth. Call me a fan boy, because I'm.

I'm not saying, that Hon is better than DotA2. I think it's the same genre but different games. There is stuff I like in Hon better and some I like in DotA 2 better.

People are thinking Hon is for noobs, because they have free chicken.

@wulgar if you're questioning my point, then go on and so forth because I've presented it clearly. Are they similar or not? That's not the point.
@Lysbrytern don't misunderstand bro :D I'm not saying Fnatic is bad...I just don't like their fans' attitude. I watch Fnatic in HoN as well, and they do have some impressive performances.

I like how every hon flamer says hon is faster than dota as if a faster game makes it better. And when I played HoN i didn't see anything faster except whenever a hero casts a spell they all moved around like they had a stick up their ass. I guess that's what you call faster.

The constant belittlement from Puppey is really getting annoying. I can't wait until fnatic takes over navi for #1 team in the world by autumn of this year.

To me it seems that Fnatic wants to try to make the same things work in Dota2 that work in HoN but unfortunately it is a slightly different beast to tame. I'm still sure that they'll pull through. They do have some tricks up their sleeve left from HoN competitive scene, NoVa_ is an amazing hard-support and once N0tail finds a couple of heroes that he gets a good feel on he will show some pretty great plays.

I do have to say though that the competition is quite better than it was in HoN. Big part of their HoN success was that they were always the people that moved the meta onwards, doing the new stuff and making the others adjust to them. Then they were in a slight slump for a small while until they came back with something new, much like how Na'Vi has done in Dota2 so far. In Dota 2 it seems there are many teams who do try out something new every now and then and the scene is much bigger anyway.

Oh and about the player attitudes, I have lots of respect towards Fnatic players on that regard. Just like in DHW11 and tourneys before they never cause drama, never rage towards each others and always look for ways to improve their game rather than assigning blame.

why the heck do we talk about hon ?

i hate lol and hon (hon more than lol) simply because they didnt make sth new... why not create a new map ? why not inventing new unique heroes ? thats my thoughts on that ... and the MOST hard game is dota... as u have to compensate for lag and u have to compensate all the comfortable extras u have in hon or now dota 2 ...

but dota 2 in the end is legit and the only game that should pick up the map... and in the end ... ALL i can say is ... hon is faster... but that doesnt make it harder ;) whoever is able to understand this isnt a fanboy...
