With an event of this level the production had to be raised, which is exactly what we have done here at joinDOTA. We will have a live panel at the jD studio hosted by the wonderful Soe Gschwind-Penski and also featuring the TI3 Panel member Jacob 'Maelk' Toft-Andersen, formally of Evil Geniuses. We will also be joined by the support player of Na'Vi, Kuro 'KuroKy' Takhasomi in the studio and other guest co-casters hooked in online with H4nn1, Clairvoyance, SyndereN and Fata amongst the names.
Statement from Maelk regarding the expert panel:
When the joinDOTA studio asked me to be a part of their coverage of the Western qualifiers for The International, I immediately accepted. These qualifiers are going to be the most defining online tournaments of the year, and getting the chance to work together with a professional studio in its production is a great opportunity. I hope that I, alongside Tobi, Soe and the rest of the crew in Berlin, can bring the viewers and enjoyable experience with some unforgettable games!
Statement from Toby regarding the production value:
The International 3 Qualifiers are already exciting but it is going to be even more special having such amazing people being live in the studio to push the joinDOTA production level to the next level. I hope people will enjoy what we have planned for both the East and West qualifiers.
Of course it wouldn't be The International without the community involvement and prizes to give away, so to start with during the show we will have Soe put her art talents to work in the breaks as well as some never seen before TI2 footage taking you behind the scenes of the biggest event of the year.
The prizes for you to win at home, courtsey of DOTA2 Lounge, has been increased to a massive 10,000 rare items given over the course of both the Eastern and Western qualifier coverage, there will be different ways each day that these items can be won, you will need your steam ID to enter the competitions. Items can be retrived by logging into the DOTA2 Lounge website with your normal steam account. AMD will also be chipping something in, so keep your eyes on the joinDOTA news for details.
