With the end of the matchup between ua Na'Vi and us Dignitas, we have three of the four teams that will be advancing to the round three of the G-1 League Western qualifiers. Here is a short recap of all the games that have taken place so far.

Having been Initally elimintated from the qualifiers due to a decision from the organizers in regards to the DDoS attacks, us Evil Geniuses were given another chance to compete when dk Absolute Legends decided to pull of the the tournament due to commitment issues. Having been given a second chance, the Americans did not disappoint their fans, sending Team Liquid to the loser's bracket with a 2-1 score line despite having nl Alaan 'SexyBamboe' Faraj as a stand-in as us Robert 'Bdiz' Tinnes is absent.

Over on the lower half of bracket, se Alliance showed off their superior teamplay and manages to get their revenge on de mousesports whom eliminated them from the EMS One LAN finals less than a week ago. Game two is the highlight of the match with Alliance going for a level one Roshan strategy by drafting Axe, Dazzle, Luna, Nature's Prophet and Shadow Demon. Having downed Roshan just slightly after creep spawn, the game soon snowballed out of control for mousesports, forcing them to call GG at just 16 minutes into the game with a killscore of 19-0.

Meanwhile, us Dignitas pushed ua Na'Vi to the limit, taking out the Ukrainian team in game one with an amazing play by Dignitas's solo mid player, us JingJun 'SneyKing' Wu on Templar Assasin and going for a rather unorthodox item build on Enigma, opting for a max Necronomicon to maximise push potential and skipping the usual Blink Dagger and Black King Bar. Game two saw the tides turned around for Dignitas as Na'Vi followed Alliance footsteps and ended the game in 16 minutes with superior teamplay.

In the final deciding game, Dignitas went for their signature unorthodox picks, banking on their Tiny and Wisp combo to carry the team along with Treant Protector as their initiator. However it did not work out the way Dignitas planned, Tiny's Aghanim's scepter was picked up rather late into the game and was unable to exploit it to its full potential. In the end, the Americans bows out and will continue their journye in the loser's bracket.

Due to the qualifiers being postponed previously due to the DDoS attakcs, Kaipi and Fnatic were scheduled to play when Na'Vi was playing Dignitas and thus was not streamed. A replay cast will be available tomorrow at 0600 CEST before the loser's bracket games.

Looking at the match ups of round three, it will sure produce some exciting matches. Alliance and Na'Vi will definitely be the highlight of the winner's bracket. Both teams have produced great results in recent times with Na'Vi winning the recently ended EMS ONE Lan finals and Alliance winning the StarLadders season 5 LAN Finals. Both teams have not met so far since their respective roster changes.

While the winner of eu Kaipi and eu Fnatic have not been decided yet, either team will be pushing Evil Geniuses to their limits. Having switched to playing the hard carry since joining Kaipi, ca Jacky 'EternalEnvy' Mao have proven to be a very versatile player. Meanwhile Fnatic have always been a strong contender in the scene giving strong showings in all tournaments they participate in.

The losing team of Kaipi and Fnatic will be facing up against Team Liquid and mouz will be taking on Dignitas in their hopes to reach the LAN finals of the G-1 League.
