This twist is highly surprising, although the comparative stability of the RoX.KiS sponsorship is likely to have been a factor in convincing Dread to make the move. The team presents a genuine opportunity to build something which can last within the Russian community, a rarity within Dota circles.
With this change, only the former zNation players now remain in 3D!Clan. Without Dread the team is likely to retake their old status within the CIS community of a decent and mostly stable but fairly unremarkable team.
Statement by team manager Dennis 'PODOX' Pestretzoff after picking up Dread:
Im happy to announce our fifth player - Andrey "DreadIsBack" Golubev. When searching for a hardlaner I was making my choice based on opinions of the members of our team. The guys had only good things to say about Dread both as a person and a player, and I, of course, couldnt pass up the opportunity to invite him. Now we have a fully equipped team of a new level. We are on par in skill with our old roster and have gained huge morale boost and have improved personal relationships within the team. Thanks to everyone who believes in us and is rooting for us! We will do our best!
Statement by Andrew 'Dread' Golubev:
My career as a professional player started with RoX.KIS, this makes me especially glad to play under this tag. Lately I've not had the chance to play with a stable roster, but I sincerely hope that now, with support from RoX.KIS we can make a real team and reach the best results!
Statement by Artem 'Sharfik' Marzavin:
