BTS Weekend Cup announced

BeyondTheSummit are hosting a miniature cup this weekend for four western teams, which will feature lead-ins and lead-outs of the remaining Fistul of Tangoes games.

Invited teams for the event are

Virtus.Pro,

Fnatic.EU and

Team Liquid with

No Tidehunter being confirmed as the final team not long after the initial announcement.

The format will be best-of-three semi-finals on Saturday followed by a best-of-five Grand Final on Sunday. The miniature cup has a winner takes all $500 prizepool.

He's referring to the Chinese New Year break, during which some of the players went home to visit family. From what I heard, two of them had planned a holiday in Thailand (iirc) instead of going home though, not sure if that panned out though.
