Armaggedon Dota 2 Grand Slam Asia

It is just the new year and tournaments are already being announced daily with the latest being Armaggeddon Dota 2 Grand Slam Asia offering up to $20,000 prizepool and a sponsorship contract to the champion team.


The Marina Bay Sands at night

Twelve teams from all over Asia will converge in Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands from the 7th to 10th of March to fight for the sponsorship contract. However the road will not be easy as teams will first have to pass through various qualifiers in order to participate in their respective national finals. Only after coming out on top in the national finals will they be given a shot at the grand finals.

Team allocation for country qualifiers
Singapore - 64 teams
Malaysia - 64 teams
Indonesia - 128 teams
Philippines - 128 teams
Sri Lanka - 128 teams
Vietnam - 64 teams
Myanmar - 32 teams

Nevertheless I hope and expect valve to host ti 3 somewhere in asia... would be great to see TI every time in a different country.

It was already confirmed that the internationals to come will be happening in the Benaroya hall, Seattle, USA.
