posted by Jaywalker, 246 days ago

Chinese Dota team LGD Gaming has expanded with a brand new international team dubbed LGD.international.
The team consists of
Per Anders 'Pajkatt' Olsson Lille,
Rasmus 'MiSeRy' Filipsen,
Sergey 'God' Bragin,
Theeban '1437' Siva, and
Braxton 'Brax' Paulson.
Rumors of LGD forming an international team were began to circulate following G's unexpected and sudden departure from
Absolute Legends, and then became rampant as both Pajkatt and MiSeRy were spotted with "LGD.int" tags on their Dota 2 team profiles. The players then also began to play with the new team tag in the public. With everything exposed, 1437 confirmed that the rumors are true via his Twitter:Alright guys... so i guess its all out. The rumours are true. LGD int is happening and I will be a part of it !
Currrently, little is known regarding the team's formation, roles, and more. LGD will now have two teams, one Chinese and another International.
With both Pajkatt and MiSeRy leaving, it remains to see what the future holds for
Counter Logic Gaming. Brax Paulson will also be leaving
Quantic Gaming.Stay tuned as we bring you more updates of this exciting new venture.

I'm actually happy with this. It shows that people can play from wherever, whenever at any latency or time-zones. It's a good way to start an international scene!

What i think Pajkatt will stick to carry G will be solo and Brax is hardlaner Misery going back to 4th and may be sometimes you will see him mid thats what i can picture.
But really how can Brax come among these 4?

+1 good thing for the scene indeed, lets see how they cope with a strict Chinese organisation

It's funny how very little information is known about this team and yet you guys have this insider information that people are going to be going to China and the LGD Gaming House. Post a factual source or don't try to pass something off as a fact.

You said it quite right, he was an unkown player months ago, but he managed to achieve a nice level as a player, at least playing Invoker =D

Since they go to China this is a good news. It won't be easy for them in the beginning but they can do something.

1437 the only real support player. this wont work
although chuan made a transition to be a utility player i dont see this happening to the player in this roster.

i think this might be a failure. i really hope it does work out but on paper it just looks like there's too much ego in this team for it to be successful. you got four players who are all more or less best in a role as 1 or 2, big ego comes with that territory. think it will be hard for them to adjust to playing different roles than they are used to and if shit goes bad there will be a lot of whine inc i feel like.
anyway, i really hope they will succeed. Pajkatt is such a good carry and truly deserves a top contender, not just internationally but amongst chinese teams too. God is one of the best solo mid players as well so they got the raw skill needed for sure. the question is if they have the work ethic and humbleness it requires to become a true top team. only time can tell.
#46 i think it's different for non-chinese teams. western guys are more ego and dont like to try and adapt to new roles, even if it's for the team's best. chinese players are much more disciplined and works a lot harder than the lazy western teams, much like korea vs west in sc2.

A good player can switch to any roles given time. 820 was a carry, BurNing was a solo player, LOH plays both carry and position3.
