According to their website, the key factor was their performance at The International 2016 qualifiers, where the team failed to qualify with a 6th place finish. Alongside the dropping of their team, the managerial staff of the organisation have also been dropped. The team's

solitary top 3 finish this year

was at Dreamleague Season 5, where they secured third place.

The announcement suggests that some of the former players of Virtus Pro will remain in the roster. It states that the organisation will spend the next

two months reforming the team

, with their new managerial staff. During the interim time, the CEO of Virtus Pro, Cherepennikov Anton, will manage the restructuring of the organisation.
