Valve release documentary trailer

As most Dota fans may know, Valve have been working on a documentary video about professional gamers. Today, they have released a trailer of said documentary via GameTrailers.TV which we have embedded below.

The documentary follows four players from around the world, namely sg Benedict 'hyhy' Lim, ua Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin, dk Jacob 'Maelk' Toft-Anderssen and us Clinton 'Fear' Loomis as they prepare for Valve's debut Dota 2 tournament, The International held at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany in 2011.

They put a lot of effort to play on a high enough level...and to see what sacrifices they make.. i believe they are worthy of respect...!

Scratch what I said before--I see what Valve is doing. They're trying to leverage their work on Dota 2 for something greater than themselves, helping to legitimize esports in the eyes of its critics and thus spare these players the struggles they bear. Wow, hats off to you Valve.
