Valve prepare for The International 2

posted by TobiWanKenobi, 282 days ago
With The International only 17 days away Valve have started to modify their TI2 event page in preperation for the hordes of DOTA2 enthusiasts who will be turning over every rock to find details for the largest event to be seen by the DOTA2 community each year.

Last year Valve had a very detailed page providing covering for all the matches and teams but this year they have expanded their focus to include more media and assistance for those attending the event live in Seattle, Washington.

No matter how much you click they just don't work yet.

Below is a highlights from the blog post recently released including the website changes, and also some issues addressed with the workshop copywrite:

The International page has also been updated with info on the venue and location. If you’re attending in person stop by and give it a read. In the coming weeks we’ll continue to expand that space with more information including the tournament format, Teams and Casters profiles, etc.

Moving forward, we need your help to ensure that the content on the Workshop is properly policed. Our ability to know the source of every idea or design is limited, but as a community we can effectively tackle this issue. We’ve posted a separate message to the Workshop blog that you can read here. Get involved in voting items up or down and let us know when you find items that represent intellectual property that is not the contributor’s own.

Also an important thing to note for people searching for tickets, we finally have an answer to the availability of tickets displayed on the new TI2 site:

Tickets for the 3 day Seattle event are sold out. Lucky for you, all of the games can be watched, live or as replays, in Dota 2 for free.

Just like the rest of the commmunity joinDOTA will keep it's eyes carefully focused on The International 2 and will bring you all the coverage your heart can desire with a new 'one stop' coverage location inside of joinDOTA.
