To make way for Sylar, the fresh face of Jiang 'Jdh' Donghao from Wings Gaming will be leaving the team. The change comes almost two weeks after registration for the Majors closed. Sylar is also no stranger to Vici Gaming, having played for the organisation from October 2013 until August 2014.
The decision to add the former LGD Gaming carry Liu 'Sylar' Jiajun will impact the team in more ways than one. In order to add him to their roster they need to break Valve's six months roster lock which started on March 27th and applies to the Manila Major and more importantly TI6. This means that Vici Gaming are ineligible for direct invites to the Valve events and they will have to go through the Open Qualifiers and then the Regional Qualifiers to qualify for both.
Sylar joining the team does add a wealth of experience to add to both Burning and Rotk's. Sylar was of course, LGD Gaming's carry player but he able to leave LGD Gaming after he came to an agreement with his former team and ACE to be released from his contract during the reshuffle period. The agreement came after a dispute on Chinese social media with the company's CEO LGD Ruru over salaries and his contract.
