WCG's list of official game titles

If you were having any doubts, World Championship Games has released the final proof that Dota 2 will be an official title for their tournament. It will be a discipline alongside four others, not including the promotional and possible upcoming official titles.



Here is the list of their official and promotional titles.

WCG 2012 Official Titles

    FPS:
  • Cross Fire® (NEOWIZ GAMES)
    • RTS:
  • DOTA™2 (Valve)
  • StarCraft® II: Wings of Liberty™ (Blizzard Entertainment)
  • Warcraft® III: The Frozen Throne™ (Blizzard Entertainment)
    • Sports:
  • FIFA 12 (Electronic Arts)


WCG 2012 Promotional Titles

    FPS:
  • Counter-Strike Online (Nexon/Valve)
    • RTS:
  • DotA Allstars
    • Action MMO:
  • World Of Tanks (Wargaming)


It is perhaps of interest to note that previous games such as League of Legends have not returned even as a promotional title.
This list will be updated whenever further information arrives.

This is awesome lets just hope they really up themselves from last year that was a total disaster from a stream spectator view. anyways im gonna watch counter-strike, wc3 tft, sc2 and ofc Dota2. damn it's gonna be good!

WCG messed up the last LoL event so bad, Riot won't help them on event sponsorship like they had in the past. They've messed up so many things in multiple events even that Samsung dropped their sponsorship of them entirely.

That's why LoL isn't there anymore. I hope they do DotA 2 more justice.
