Why would anyone want to let the most unknowledgable caster ever to teach Dota 2? Maybe ask Synderen, Dendi or even some mechfags from PlayDota.com?

#2 has a point though.... tobi's a good caster and all but he does not fit for tutorials as his knowledge about the game is pretty limited

Oh please.. Tobi has as good knowledge as the average pubstar, teaching basics suits him just fine. Theese videos are fer sure for people less knowlageble then him, also tobis game understanding have improved alot compared to earlier stages of his career.

You don't need to look at these guides like a PRO guide. Toby does it to help people new to the game (or to a particular hero) get some grips to the game, it is like an introduction presenting how the heroes work and some possible builds, nothing more. Some info is better than NO INFO so be quiet and if you think they are bad why don't you spend your time on some guides and share from your mega ultra vast knowledge of Dota.

Point of the video is to learn the basics with the hero, not to learn when to buy force staff and when to rush dagger, and we should all be grateful because he is doing all these things for us,not judge his skill.
He surely does not have INGAME skill like other players, cause probably he would then play on the competetive scene, but what he has is a good will, sense of humour, ability to help and a really remarkable shoutcasting skill
Go Tobi :)

Tobi has been casting the highest level of dota 2 possible for over a year now... to think he is still not very knowledgeable is pretty ignorant. if you listen to his casts you'd already know that

I love Tobi but I agree with FATA, (who is also an experienced Tinker player btw) there is a point to be made. Also as Tobi is directly (or indirectly) sponsored by Razer and is such an influential and popular figure within the DotA community it makes sense that they would ask him to do the DotA part of their academy. They could have gotten someone else like FurryFish (who also works for Razer) to do it but I don't think she has much experience with guides.

Anyway, there's no point saying anything negative because it's not gonna change the fact that he will continue these guides as long as Razer asks him to so.. just let it be. :)

Why is that every Learn Dota episode with Tobi get's so much hate? Asking the same question all over again. Isn't the argument in the last episode enough? Come on, grow up.

#15, actually these guides are nothing much, one can just dont watch if u dont like it, if u like then watch, the haters have obviously nothing better to do, which is why they are called haters..

this is common in dota community as it can be: "he is noob, why is he doing this or that, bla bla, i could own him". well you could not, toby is hilarious guy but he can play, probably better than any of you who consider him noob. you think you can do better? make your own guide and let us see. i hate people who criticize others while they sitting on their asses, doing nothing. dont get me wrong, lots of people play better than toby, but tell me one thing, who watches whose video?

Actually they have a pretty good lineup vs tinker there... If bane catches you out ... he can lock you down for long enough for vs/es to run up and get their stun off or sniper can get you from a distance or zeus can global even if you manage to bt away.
Tinker tends to be by himself pushing lanes and can easily get caught out if other teams aren't cowering in their base.

Assuming you arent 20+ levels ahead with lategame items when they barely just got boots...

You flamers are why DotA 2 will never beat League of Legends.

Its sad because I like DotA 2 better than LoL, but I realize the big issue with the game. Its community is the worst in all of gaming.
