Soo each team is allocated into 4 groups huh? That would mean that every team would be in every group.

seems like a really small pricepool but nice concept but think high ping is gonna be a big issue for all teams I think which is a shame. Also you missing Na'vi and MTW...

Well I think this is just a rather friendly practice tournament before TI2.

1000 $ as prizepool for such a tournament is realy not that much compared to other competitions. For example GD Studio gave out 1k $ winner only in a 4 team single elemination bo3 tournament played in only one evening. I wonder how they got all the teams to participate.
Oh, and just to make that clear: I'm of course glad they organize this and i hope for fun games to watch.

300 ms matches for 1000$. I dont think teams will really care for the result of this one.

Fuck the prize pool, the lag in games between Asia and Yurop is going to be absolutely unbearable. I applaud the endeavour but ~300 m/s is no way to play Dota.

I think the concept of the tournament was told to the teams, so everybody should have known what's coming.

gonna be good to see EU/NA vs. SEA/CN , 14 of teh teams are playing at TI with mouz being a confirmed standin and I assume WE will be there aswell seeing as they were runners up in East wildcard. Overall, looking forward to it - the prizepool isn't too big which is why Na'Vi aren't in it; and mTw hate playing on high pings which is probably why they aren't in it. should be good!

Wow this is a really bad idea.
1000$ for these kind of teams. Have they even confirmed it?
