Weekly Top 5: Double rax in 13 minutes!?

posted by Jaywalker, 324 days ago

Double barracks in 13 minutes!? If you ever doubted the power of pushing, eu mousesports versus eu mTw will exhibit just how helpless a team can be against crazy endless pushes. That rivalry between mouz and mTw is certainly worth watching! If you love the chaos that follows an attempt to kill Roshan at level one, you will definitely want to check out dk MonkeyBusiness against se Infused.

In this edition of joinDOTA: Weekly Top 5, the casters featured are au Tobi 'TobiWanKenobi' Dawson, us David 'Luminous' Zhang us Kevin 'Purge' Godec, de Christian 'Epi' Czech, and the lovely nl Jorien 'Sheever' van der Heijden.

Purge

In this game of the GosuLeague, mTw played against mouz in a crazy push fest with near perfect execution. I haven't seen a game get pushed this fast in months, and it was an absolute treat to watch and cast it.

Luminous

Last time we saw an epic Axe, and this time we'll have even more non-standard heroes in pro games. Infused gives away Lycanthrope and proceed to build a team around 3 supports soloing each lane, and Ursa/Skeleton King jungling it up. Monkeybusiness's standard lineup against Infused's pubtastic shenanigans - you don't want to miss this hilariously epic game!

Epi

This is a very interesting game that happened for joinDOTA's The Defense. The draft already indicates a fast paced match with focus on map control and it does turn out to be just that. A highly educative match for those wanting to find out more about how to keep pressure on your enemy and exploit the resulting defensive state of mind to bring your strategy to fruition.

Infused vs. Na`Vi

Sheever

A game between Infused and Na'Vi in ProDota2 that Na'Vi had to win in order to still have a chance at being in the Playoffs for the 10,000 dollar prizepool. It was a clash of two different strategies. The mid-game strategy of Infused vs the seemingly late-game strategy (with a twist) of Na'Vi, which one will prevail over the other?

NEXT.kz vs Team Empire

Tobi

There is just something fun about this style of Dota which appears to come out of Russia and Ukraine, and this case Kazakhstan as well. While some would say it isn't the most epic game of time, for me it is one of the most entertaining.

Not really. mtw does get those early pushes, but most of the time they dont have the opportunity to push into the base, which results into turtling outside the enemy's base. Guess it worked out for them against Mouz

Next vs Empire is a nice choice, really fun and entertaining to watch. Eastern European dota seems to be the most interesting and action-packed as for now.
