With just 48 hours until the Frankfurt Majors kick off we now finally have the groups! The 16 participating teams have been divided into four groups, with pe unknown probably the most unfortunate of the bunch finding themselves alongside OG, Vega and Vici Gaming in Group B. Meanwhile, Alliance will have to get past EHOME and CDEC if they hope to get a good seed for the main event. Full groups inside.

The groupstages will take place on the 13th and 14th of November, and it is important to remember that they are in order to seed the teams for the main event and no team will be eliminated during this stage. According to our sources the schedule of Group C and D has been changed, and all matches of C and D will take place on Saturday 14th November due to LGD and EHOME's visa issues.

Teams will play a double elimination group stage, with the top 2 teams seeded into the Winners Bracket of the Main Event, and the bottom two seeded into the Lower Bracket. More information on the format can be found in our previous news by ProxyPL.

Group stage example
Match one: Team A vs. Team B
Match two: Team C vs. Team D
Winners’ match (WM): Winner of match one vs. winner of match two - winner advances to upper bracket
Elimination match (EM): Loser of match one vs. loser of match two - loser drops to lower bracket
Decider match: Loser of WM vs. winner of EM - winner advances to upper bracket and loser drops to lower bracket
