The Defense Qualifier - 12 teams left

32 teams remain in The Defense Qualifier, but by Wednesday only four teams will qualify for the 10,000€ tournament. The qualified teams will join top teams in an action packed tournament powered by Razer and BenQ.

The 32 teams participating in the qualifier is available in the grid below. All remaining teams will now head into double elimination.

All remaining teams must join #thedefense at Quakenet IRC to arrange the matches with your opponents.

The schedule for the games are as follows:

Tuesday, June 12
18:00 - UB Round of 32
19:15 - UB Ro16 & LB Round 1
20:30 - UB Ro8 & LB Round 1.5
21:45 - LB Round 2

Wednesday, June 13
18:00 - UB Decider 1 & LB Round 2.5
19:15 - UB Decider 2 & LB Round 3
20:30 - LB Decider 1
21:45 - LB Decider 2

Update (Wednesday 16:00):

The amount of survivors got reduced from 32 to 12 yesterday, and only four of them are still in the upper bracket: eu Hello Moto, de uebelst gayming, us FIENDS, and ru Team Empire are only a single win away from qualifying to The Defense 2. They will face each other initially in the UB Deciders to determine the first two winners of this tournament. The losers get a second chance in the lower bracket, where eight teams fight for the chance to challenge them in the LB Deciders.

au Toby 'TobiWanKenobi' Dawson will be casting all four decider matches tonight, starting at 18:00 CEST. Be sure to tune in and witness as four teams emerge victorious from the qualifiers and stand a chance to compete against the world's best.
