A shocking result came in the finals of SEA qualifiers just few moments ago as Mineski have beaten the heavy favourites - Fnatic. The star studded line up was by many considered an invite to the Frankfurt Major but my Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung and crew failed to impress and lost 2-1 to a squad who are still trying to put their stamp on the international scene after putting together a very solid Filipino line-up. With that they will have their back against the wall fighting for the final spot from SEA against my Orange.Taring*.

Update: Fnatic won their match against SatuDuaTiga and qualified to the Frankfurt Major as a second team from SEA.

The key to Mineski success was definitely ph Ryo 'ryOyr' Hasegawa who shined on Tusk in both of the victorious games. The former Rave player was crucial in making the space for the Spectre in the first game. Moreover, he singlehandedly won a lane against Doom and Rubick in the third game securing multiple kills as well as completely shutting down de Dominik 'Black^' Reitmeier's farm.

On the back of that performance a super farmed Spectre was able to close down the game one. Game three however, was definitely a great showing from the whole team as Mineski won all three lanes and never backed out after that. They constantly pressured Fnatic which lead to a GG call in a little bit more than 20 min!

With that Mineski is the first Southeast Asia qualifier to the Frankfurt Major. This will be the first ever LAN event out side of SEA for the team since TI1!

Mineski's casters were definitely excited during this match

*Update*: Fnatic claim second slot at Fall Majors
Fnatic were not disheartened after the loss to Mineski in the upper-bracket, and a 2-0 disposal my Orange.Taring* saw them qualify for the event to be held in Frankfurt next month. Mushi's Lina played a pivotal role in both of the matches, but it was ph Djardel 'DJ' Mampusti's Clockwerk in game 2 finishing 9-0-11 which truely impressed, especially considering how he had struggled in the previous game on Tusk.
