"Looking for a 5k mmr Australian player to digitally beat the crap outta my 12-year-old brother", was the Reddit thread which sprung up earlier today, and it quickly gained traction after a user called Furaxis replied: "I have a 5k and a 6k account and am from Aus, could do it when I get home in an hour."
So I volunteered myself to cast a 1v1 between a 12 year old and a 5k mmr player from Australia.
Might get savage.

It appeared the aim of the match was to teach his younger brother some humility, and Lysander decided to broadcast the encounter which garnered over 5,000 viewers. "I've been told by the brother to go easy on the 12-year old," said Lysander on the cast. "Although, we all know that people that believe they belong in higher MMR when they're not need to be put in their place, but I'll try not to be harsh and turn this into cyber-bullying."
The younger brother ultimately only lost 2-1 to Furaxis, with the 5k/6K player deciding to try to deny himself in the Pudge vs Pudge instead of go for the Meat Hook which appeared to be a sign of compassion rather than a mistake.
There was even a Reddit thread to commemorate the victory
Off the back of the Pudge vs Pudge victory the 12-year old brother was then part of a "bonus match" of Kunkka vs Kunkka with his own older brother which he also lost 2-1, all under the watchful eyes of Twitch chat. The first game can be found here with the rest of the VOD here, although the chat itself is probably more entertaining than the match and memes were definitely made today.
If you were the 12-year old would you have accepted the public challenge?
