Team Dignitas interviews TobiWan

posted by 86248Diamond, 361 days ago
Our very own au TobiWan was recently interviewed by gb Team Dignitas on topics such as his struggles with starting as a caster, the joinDOTA project, what he might know of Valve's secrets and more.

Tobi starts off speaking about his previous casting group, the "United Offensive Talkers", and moves on into recalling his move into DotA. Other things he touches on in the audio interview includes his faith in Valve's development of Dota 2, his love for the various heroes, and even his belief that Dota 2 could potentially grow to be bigger than League of Legends.

23:50 you talk about Quantic and mouz stabilizing their roster and watching them at the early rounds of The International. But they're not invited yet!

Big leak by Tobi? :D

Even Tobi is talking about how amazing iG is going to be at the IT2. Like he said, go big or stay at home and "professional amateurs" slacking off won't make the cut.

Meh, keep in mind Tobi's basically a "noob" to DOTA compared to a lot of us from the original version and Guinsoo's days, much less ones like Darkness Falls..

Of course he doesn't understand a lot of the history.. He also only has DOTA 2 to base his judgements on..

Tobi said mousesports would be a team that can make it into the final.....does that mean that mousesport is getting invited into the international?

"belief that Dota 2 could potentially grow to be bigger than League of Legends"

This will never happen maybe in China but thats it. Dota 2 need to promote hardcore for getting bigger then League of Legends in EU. 1 of the reasons is that manye Pro-Teams have more EU player in there Teams Spain, France, Germany etc.

So why should they play a Game how most the time Support China and the Pro-Teams only Russians and Chines.

Finally League of Legends is now almost "the same size" as SC2 in Korea!
